We are fresh off a great weekend of training here at Nasha Lending. Last week, we had 25 community leaders and 5 facilitators join a team from Chattanooga and Cincinnatti to discuss entrepreneurship in Greenville, SC.
We learned a lot about the problem: lack of resources and inclusion for urban entrepreneurs, the solution: develop community wide support and resources for urban entrepreneurs, and we saw examples of other models like LAUNCH Chattanooga and MORTAR Cincinnatti.
We are excited to announce Nasha Lending will be hosting the first training for urban entrepreneurs in Greenville, SC. Our goal is to equip under-resourced entrepreneurs to become providers, creators, and producers in their communities. The first cohort begins on April 18 and will meet at Textile Hall. We are looking for entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs to be a part of our cohort. We will work on validating and expanding an individual’s business idea. Topics include how to develop a business plan, market research, customer development, financial planning, marketing, branding, social media, and more.
The curriculum has been used in Chattanooga, Memphis, Grand Rapids, and New Orleans with great success and we are excited to launch the first cohort in Greenville.
If you or someone you know is interested, apply here. Applications are due April 11.
