This week, we will be introducing our three contestants to you.
Who are you and what is your business?
I am Angela Pride, wife to Mr. Troy Pride Sr. and mother to four wonderful, talented young people, Brionah, Troy Jr., Chance, and Trinity. I am founder of Coach with Pride, a leadership training firm here in the Upstate. I am also the Author of When Women Lead Vol. 1. I serve as an Elder in my home church Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center. I am very passionate about leadership and helping others to grow.
Where do you see your business in 5 years?
In five years I definitely see my business thriving. I see myself continuing to expand and grow, having other coaches and trainers on staff. I will also continue to nourish my latest arm of the business, Young ladies LEAD too. YLL2 is my mentoring group for girls ages 11-16 years old. My vision for this group is to give our young ladies more realistic examples and standards unlike the one they tend to see on TV.
What's the hardest part about running your own business?
One of the more difficult areas for me in running my own business has been consistency in marketing. As a small business owner it is tougher to compete with larger businesses that definitely have longer dollars.
If you could have one super power what would it be and why?
Honestly I feel like I already posses at least one Superpower through the grace of God. The gift of exhortation, I encounter so many people (strangers) on a daily basis that I am able to encourage and lift up which is a true blessing not just for them but for me as well. But If I had to request a superpower today it would be to remove all HATE from the world. I would want this superpower because the world is suffocating due to hate.
How would you describe yourself in 6 words?
I would describe my with these 6 words: A Kingdom Leader making a Difference!
